We have two confederate ancestors buried at Nances Creek Methodist Cemetery in Nances Creek, Alabama: John T. Chambers and John Dade Morgan.

John T. Chambers first entered the service as a private into the 3rd Alabama Cavalry, Co G, at Jacksonville, Alabama and continued until surrender. At the time of the 1907 census of Confederate Soldiers he did not remember the date of his enlistment.
