Our Daguerreotypes
This picture was purchased by “Borzoi Rescue of Northern California” (BRNC). They purchased it from a dealer in San Mateo, California who “got a box of old things.” The photo came from a Spalding family estate in Connecticut and a letter found in with the photograph identified the Borzoi as “Sascha” and “Percival.” The time period is in the 1930’s. The BRNC is very interested in locating any family members who might have information as to the identity of the woman and her Borzoi in the picture.
