• Obituary: Stroud, Oklahoma. Willie Albert White was born in White Plains, Alabama, May 24, 1911, and departed this life Tuesday, September 11th at 11 o'clock p.m. at the age of 23 years, 3 months and 18 days.
He came with his parents, to Stroud, September, 1913, where he had resided since, and had formed a large circle of friends.
He leaves to mourn his loss:
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. White; three brothers and four sisters, Mr. and Mrs. White and family, Oklahoma City; Mr. and Mrs. Eunice White and family, Stroud; Mr. and Mrs. Guy McVey and family, Anadarko; Eula, Irene, Nellie, and Floyd White, Stroud, and a devoted fiancee, Lee Stroud, Stroud, besides a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the First Methodist Church of Stroud at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with Rev. t. parker Hillborne officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Stroud cemetery.
He was a friend to all and was loved by all who knew him. We realize his vacancy can never ben filled.
