Per Spalding Memorial:
Ezekiel Spalding served in the war of the Revolution as a
private, stationed at Georgetown, Massachusetts, from July 25
to December 31, 1775; also served as a private in Captain
William Lithow's Co., and was stationed at Falmouth,
Massachusetts from March 19 to November 13, 1776; he was made
Corporal October 16, 1776. he was made Sergeant in Captain
Reed's C o., Col. Brooks' Regt., service from February 11 to
October 1, 1777. It app ears that he also served as a sergeant
in the Continental army for three year s.
Per Plainfield Vital Records -- Volume 1, Page 27:
Spaulding, Ezekiel, s. Ephraim and Abigail, b. Sept. 30, 1731
Ezekiel married Sarah Morgan.
