Benjamin is not mentioned in the will of his father, as he had
already received his portion. He purchased a large tract of
land in the northerly part of Canterbury, Windham County,
Connecticut, now called Brook lyn. His family homestead was
transmitted to his son Edward, and in the proc ess of time to
Edward's son Ebenezer.

Benjamin married Olive Farwell, daughter of Henry Farwell and Unknown Olive.
